As India is progressing towards a knowledge economy, it has become even more imperative to ensure that the ultimate fruits of ICTs become available to all. In this context Elets Knowledge Exchange-Goa 2015 Summit has been organized. The Information Technology Department, Government of Goa is co-hosting the summit along with Elets Technomedia. It is being supported by eGov, Asia’s premier magazine on ICT in Governance. The event will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange between the key stakeholders who are active in the fields of Governance, Urban Development-with Special Focus on Smart Cities, Education, Health and BFSI.
It will also focus on Government of India’s vision of Changing India through the Digital India Program.
By facilitating an exchange of ideas between these stakeholders, the event will serve as a catalyst for an ICT revolution that is more inclusive in nature. The focus of the event is on the way the different stakeholders interact when introducing ICTs in governance systems and the way these interactions affect institutions and communities, and the related decision making process.
